The Reverend Marcia Lauzon

Marcia Lauzon received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Western Illinois University, and a Master’s of Arts, Entertainment and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago.
After working in a variety of fields ranging from medicine to accounting, Ms. Lauzon came to Montana in the early 1990s through her work as a performing arts manager. She was General Manager of the Montana Chorale, a professional chamber choir, and one of three founders of First Night Great Falls. She is the author of two published studies on First Night celebrations.
At the Church of the Incarnation, she has served in a variety of volunteer positions, including as a chalice server, and two terms on the vestry. She became the first verger in the Episcopal Diocese of Montana in 2007, where she has also served as a delegate to diocesan convention, to the Montana Association of Churches, and to the Province VI Synod. She is a Fellow of the Verger’s Guild of the Episcopal Church.
A lifelong choir member, she sings with the Great Falls Symphonic Choir. She is a member of the Great Falls Ministerial Association, and the Great Falls Interfaith Association. She serves on the board of the YWCA of Great Falls, and as a mentor in their Power of Sisterhood mentoring program.
Deacon Marcia was ordained to the sacred order of deacons on May 18, 2014, by the Rt. Rev. Dr. C. Franklin Brookhart, IX Bishop of Montana.
Deacon Marcia is a widow with two adult children and two grandchildren.
